ABOUT MAYIMComposer, Conductor, LeaderMayim Stith is a professional composer, conductor, and arranger. She writes and arranges for women's, men's, and mixed choruses, wind ensembles, concert/pep bands, and more. Her passions include sacred music, women's/treble choirs, and community arts programs.
Mayim studied music theory, composition, conducting, and vocal performance at Hillsdale College with Dr. Daniel Tacke and Professor James Holleman. While at Hillsdale, she honed her skills singing with the Chamber Choir and Concert Choir, performing in the pit orchestra and vocal studios, serving as Songmaster for Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity, and directing the Hillsdale College Pep Band. Since then, she has enjoyed singing with the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, conducting her own ensemble, and passing her love for the arts on to the next generation by teaching Music Together classes.
